The controversial movie will be released soon under the banner of Nostrum Entertainment Hub, which is owned by Raj Patel, Vipul Patel, and Raj Nostrum. It was mostly shot in Banaras, Uttar Pradesh. According to the director Vinod Tiwari, the film "The Conversion" will be a love triangle, romantic drama with three characters. He said in an interview, "It is not simply a love triangle, ‘The Conversion’ is sensitively exploring the issue of religious conversions that occur during love marriages in India."
